The newly appointed Acting Executive Director of HESLGB, Dr Patrick Mphepo, officially reported for duty today.

Dr Mphepo was welcomed by HESLGB Board Chairperson, Dr Patrick Makina, at the HESLGB offices in Lilongwe.

In his remarks, the Board chairperson said he has confidence in Dr Mphepo's skills, background, qualifications, and experience, which will improve and transform student loan disbursement and recovery in the country.

Dr Mphepo said he was passionate about transforming HESLGB into a financially independent institution by enhancing loan-recovery efforts, introducing an endowment fund, and collaborating with external stakeholders willing to support the creation of a sustainable student loan fund.
